Eczema & Allergy Support

Childhood eczema allergy triggers and skincare support

Watching your child struggle with chronic skin flare-ups, bleeding patches or relentless itching that destroys their sleep is utterly heartbreaking. When you are trapped in a cycle of trying countless over-the-counter creams without success, it is incredibly easy to feel overwhelmed by conflicting medical opinions and online advice. You do not have to navigate your child's skincare routines alone.

Sleeping Happy Baby

Helping you understand your child's unique skin triggers

Childhood eczema is complex, and skin barriers can react aggressively to heat, sweat, environmental factors or hidden dietary allergens. We provide an unhurried, supportive space to look at your child's complete health history as a whole person, helping you make sense of their symptoms safely.

  • Identifying patterns: We help you track specific flare-up triggers systematically, keeping note of how environmental changes or illnesses impact their skin barrier.

  • Steroid cream guidance: Gain compassionate clarity around the safe use of conventional doctor-prescribed treatments to take away the daily uncertainty and anxiety.

  • Evidence-based insight: Learn how lifestyle choices or targeted changes fit alongside your child's baseline patterns cleanly without jargon. For a comprehensive guide on managing evening flare-ups, read our expert insights on The Bedtime Eczema Routine to Help Your Child Sleep directly within our insights panel.

Optimising your daily bathing and skincare routines

The right daily care can make a massive difference to an irritated skin barrier, but finding a consistent balance requires clear, practical guidance. Our remote advisory support focuses on educating you on how to look after your child's skin calmly and confidently at home.

  • Bathing routines: Receive expert validation on appropriate water temperatures, soaking durations and protecting fragile skin barriers without triggering inflammation.

  • Emollient application: Learn the exact techniques for applying moisturisers, washes or recommended skin products safely to maximize their hydrating benefit.

  • Practical planning: Build a manageable, long-term skincare routine that brings hope, reduces daily stress and fits comfortably into your family life.

"Catherine was supportive throughout and made us feel genuinely listened to."

“I contacted Catherine because my son had been suffering from eczema since he was four months old, and despite trying conventional treatments prescribed by doctors as well as homeopathic remedies, his skin continued to worsen. I felt overwhelmed by the amount of conflicting advice available and unsure about what else I could do to help him. Catherine has been an incredible source of support and guidance. She took the time to listen to our experience and understand our concerns, particularly around the use of steroid creams. Her knowledge of eczema has been invaluable. Not only are we now starting to see improvements in my son's skin, but I also feel much more confident in how I am managing his condition. Having someone knowledgeable and understanding to turn to has taken away a lot of the uncertainty and stress”
