Cow’s Milk Allergy (CMPA) Support
Cow's milk allergy baby help and child support
If your baby is constantly crying, struggling with reflux-like symptoms, experiencing chronic constipation or showing sudden skin reactions after milk exposure, you are likely at breaking point. Trying to figure out infant feeding worries on your own is completely exhausting, but you do not have to double-guess your baby's symptoms alone.

Helping you decode your baby's physical responses
Cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) is one of the most common food allergies in infants, yet it remains incredibly challenging to identify because delayed reactions can take hours or even days to present. We provide a calm, supportive space to explore your child's mild to moderate symptoms systematically.
-
Mapping symptom trends: We help you track digestive distress, reflux patterns, changing bowel movements and skin flare-ups cleanly.
-
Documenting history: Learn how to accurately record your baby's daily reactions so you can maximise your time during NHS clinic reviews.
-
Clinical clarity: Understand the distinct differences between an immune-mediated milk protein allergy and a digestive lactose intolerance.
Practical guidance on elimination diets and milk ladders
Managing dietary changes can feel overwhelming, whether you are trying to navigate specialist prescription formulas or adjusting your own diet while breastfeeding. Our nurse-led service focuses on giving you the time and step-by-step education needed to implement home management pathways safely and confidently.
-
Breastfeeding support: Receive compassionate, practical guidance on how to safely manage a maternal elimination diet without losing your nutritional balance.
-
Formula clarity: Demystify the clinical details behind specialist amino acid or extensively hydrolysed formulas prescribed by your healthcare team.
-
Reintroduction milk ladders: Gain clear, structured education on how, when and why to navigate home-based milk ladders safely when your child is ready.

"We felt much more confident to ask for help from our GP with Catherine’s advice."
“We took our four-week-old baby to Catherine after we started to suspect he might have a cow’s milk protein allergy. As first-time parents, we were very stressed with a very discontented newborn, and we weren’t getting the support from the GP that we would have liked. Catherine gave us lots of advice on how to proceed, which ultimately led to us being referred from our GP to a paediatric unit at our local hospital, and getting the right prescription formula for our baby, who had a milk and egg allergy. We felt much more confident to ask for help from our GP with Catherine’s advice, and we would recommend her to others. She was so helpful, kind and supportive with us.”
