Asthma Support
Asthma support for children who have allergy triggered asthma
When your child struggles with coughing, wheezing or changing breathing patterns, especially alongside environmental allergies, it is completely natural to feel anxious. Trying to manage day-to-day triggers while feeling unsure about how to keep your child comfortable is overwhelming, but you do not have to manage their airway health alone.

Helping you understand asthma patterns & allergy links
-
Understanding allergy links: We help you analyse the specific timeline and physical patterns of how your child's environmental allergies interact with their stable asthma symptoms.
-
Trigger identification: Learn how to identify day-to-day environmental triggers cleanly so you can gather clear, reliable data to share with your primary clinical team.
-
Clinical education and insight: Gain an understanding of how airborne particles impact sensitive airways.
Practical guidance on trigger avoidance and care confidence
Supporting a child with medically stable asthma requires a clear understanding of their daily environment, but maintaining a safe home should not feel completely overwhelming. Our remote nurse-led service focuses on delivering practical education to help your family maintain absolute confidence.
-
Supporting asthma plans: Receive evidence-based education to help you confidently understand and follow the medical management and inhaler plans already prescribed by your child's doctor.
-
Optimising daily routines: Learn how to track environmental changes, identify common triggers at home, and ensure your daily routines keep your child's airway health structurally supported.
-
Signposting and care navigation: Master the clear parameters of when symptoms are stable, when to request an NHS medication review, and when to seek immediate primary medical care.

"Having the support from Catherine genuinely made me feel that no question was silly."
“Catherine provided amazing advice with the respiratory problem we were facing with Jude too. Having the support from Catherine genuinely made me feel that no question was silly and that I was not alone for feeling terrified every time his breathing would flare. Catherine was again a massive support at a time where I felt so alone and out of my depth. The way that Catherine explains things are so clear and broken down to make sure you really understand how respiratory issues occur and what must happen in order to help your child as much as possible, by not using technical jargon but using language and providing empathy all the way through we could really understand what we need to do going forward should Jude have a flare up.”

Your remote allergy consultations explained
Accessing specialist paediatric nursing advice should not involve long waiting lists or stressful, disruptive trips to busy local clinics. We provide professional, CQC-registered remote allergy consultations UK-wide, delivering clinical support straight to your home via secure video or telephone appointments.
Step 1: Before your consultation
Once you select a time that fits your family routine through our secure Semble booking system, you will receive a confirmation link alongside our standard patient disclaimer.
We will ask you to share a brief summary of your child's mild to moderate symptoms, current feeding habits or skincare routines so we can prepare thoroughly before we meet.
Step 2: During your online appointment
We will spend our dedicated, unhurried time together exploring your child's complete medical and symptom history.
We will listen closely to your anxieties, decode confusing clinical jargon, and help you identify specific environmental or dietary trigger patterns affecting your child's daily comfort.
Step 3: Your practical path forward
Following our conversation, you will receive clear, evidence-based nursing education and practical home management toolkits tailored to your child.
With your explicit consent, we can also prepare a co-ordinated information summary to share with your GP or health visitor to support onward NHS care pathways smoothly.
